Green laser (532 nm) detection and visualization of latent fingerprints on wiped
drywalls: A preliminary result for a field-based approach

Fingerprints are a common and practical method for human identification in forensic investigations worldwide. Surfaces or
objects that have been touched by human fingers may possess the transferred fingerprint residue. Three types of fingerprints
are commonly found at a scene: 1) Patent fingerprints are visible directly when the finger touches ink, blood, or paint and then
touches the surface.
